With its impressive power of 40 kW and a CCS2 charging point with 5 metre cable length, it offers a practical and efficient solution for charging electric vehicles with a CCS2 connection. Compared to conventional 11 kW AC charging stations, the EM2GO DC charging station enables more than 3.5 times the charging speed.
This means that electric vehicles can receive more energy in less time. Think of charging stations for vehicle fleets, commercial buildings or residential buildings - wherever a fast and reliable charging solution is needed.
The EM2GO DC charging station not only offers high performance, but also user-friendly operation. Thanks to the integrated RFID card reader, charging processes can be authenticated securely and conveniently. The large glass front of the charging station houses a 5-inch touchscreen that clearly shows all important information such as the vehicle's charge status, the energy already charged, the current charging power and the remaining charging time.
The glass front is secured with a lock to prevent unauthorised access. It can be opened and allows easy access for installation and maintenance work.
The configuration of the charging station is flexible and simple. Settings for performance and connectivity can be made directly via the touchscreen and alternatively via the integrated web interface. The charging station supports the OCPP protocol, which facilitates its integration into backend systems and makes it an intelligent component in a larger charging system.
Communication interfaces are an important aspect for networking the charging station. The EM2GO DC charging station offers several options, including WiFi and cellular module with support for EDGE and LTE/4G (SIM card required). These versatile communication options ensure secure and fast data transmission, regardless of the local conditions.
The EM2GO DC charging station not only impresses with its performance and functionality, but also with its robust design. With its IP54 and IK08 protection, it is suitable for outdoor use and offers a reliable charging solution in various environments. An included hook allows the cable to be hung up neatly, while a socket on the side safely stows the CCS2 plug after the charging process.
