Feststoff Batterien bei Nissan ?

Solid-state batteries at Nissan?

, 1 min reading time

Nissan is on the cusp of a significant transformation: The GT-R will soon be electric and could be the first Nissan model to feature solid-state batteries. Developed in Yokohama, these batteries offer technical advantages such as higher energy density, longer ranges, and shorter charging times. They require less space, making them ideal for various vehicle types, including sports cars. Solid-state batteries are expected to be used in production vehicles starting in 2028.

The electric GT-R model, based on the Hyper Force concept, could produce over 1300 hp and would be one of Nissan's most powerful developments. Despite this innovation, the electric GT-R is not expected before 2028, as the introduction of solid-state batteries still requires time.
