In a forward-looking partnership, EGT Energy Solutions GmbH and D-Parts GmbH with its brand EM2GO have laid the foundation for the expansion of charging infrastructure in Germany. The first milestone of their collaboration is the installation of an innovative DC 240 fast charger in a public parking lot in the immediate vicinity of the EGT headquarters in Triberg. This cooperation not only marks the beginning of an ambitious project to create more charging parks but also the connection of two companies that aim to sustainably advance electromobility.
The DC 240 is the first of its kind in Germany and offers a variety of advantages. In addition to its impressive charging performance, Fabian Ringwald, Managing Director of EGT Energy Solutions GmbH, particularly praises the clean appearance and the large marketing screen of the charger, as well as its intuitive and simple operation. Another advantage is its extremely quiet operation, which makes it particularly attractive in urban areas. Furthermore, great importance was placed on accessibility during the development of the charger – the arrangement of the individual components allows for comfortable use by people with disabilities.
“The DC 240 is a real asset to our charging infrastructure,” says Fabian Ringwald. “The combination of modern design, user-friendliness, and quiet operation is exactly what we want for our customers and the public space.”
A key decision criterion for EGT to choose EM2GO was the outstanding price-performance ratio. The partnership was characterized by a smooth process from planning and ordering to installation and commissioning. The possibility of public billing through the company becharged, including a payment terminal for direct payment with credit or EC cards, underscores the user-friendliness of the system.
With their joint project, EM2GO and EGT Energy Solutions GmbH are sending a strong signal for electromobility and demonstrating that innovative technology and strategic partnerships are the key to a sustainable and efficient charging infrastructure. Customers can look forward to a growing number of fast charging points that will extend the range of electric vehicles and facilitate the transition to electromobility. EM2GO offers DC chargers up to DC 480KW 4-way.
